Foraging – Hedgerow and medicinal plus Women’s herb day at Wowo

“At Wowo we are very keen to help re-skill and educate both adults and kids in nature connection and wilder ways of living, being at one with the land.

We offer full day foraging adventures for spring greens, flowers, medicinal herbs, berries, nuts and fruits and also acorns.  These days are run by Anna Richardson who is a very inspiring tutor.  The morning is spent foraging, then a shared lunch and lots of making around the campfire all afternoon.  You will often go home with a selection of ointments, oxymels, herbal vinegars, tinctures or fruit leather. Plus many new friends from the plant kingdom.

We also run shorter 3hr sessions for kids and families to include some foraging and campfire cooking skills.

Situated near the Bluebell railway in Sheffield park you can combine your fun and educational days out with a weekend of camping or ‘Glamping’.

Other courses include Hedgerow basketry, ‘wild’ pottery, woodwork, Living willow and bushcraft.

We look forward to welcoming you around a campfire soon”
