“Forest Foragers (previously called Wild Harvest) run wild food foraging courses in Surrey and Essex. We cover both wild plant and fungi identification. We are foodie oriented and provide lunches that celebrate wild food. We show how to prepare, preserve and cook wild foods.
Courses are half day, either taster courses for those new to foraging or afternoon forays for the more experienced, or full-day courses comprising tuition, a full lunch featuring wild foods and a collecting session, followed by a cooking demonstration and an identification check of everyone’s basket.
We run courses from late August to mid November. Our courses are structured for adults, we do not accept children on our courses for health and safety reasons.”
